THE WITCHES DO NOT PLAY, THE WITCH WILL COME IN / 2018

Everyday Witchcraft / Kogo Gallery

21 July – 8 September

Participating artists: Kristel Saan, Laura Põld, Anna Mari Liivrand, GolfClayderman, Jaakko Pallasvuo

Curated by Merilin Talumaa

The exhibition Everyday Witchcraft examines everyday practices and habits as a significant part of art practice. Perceiving these practices as rituals, it is possible to create (fictitious) narratives and myths about artists’ work process and creativity. The exhibition focuses on different daily experiments and stagings, and on the accompanying obsessions, fetishes, hopes and fears that will eventually become the central part of creative works.
