Paradise - I Already went And Came Back

(AV17) Gallery, Vilnius Lithuania

2021

Rough, irregular even rustic forms and expressions (in their seemingly static position) are inspiring the reduction of the physical distance between one being from another, from an object to human, from human to touch. Spirituality has become relevant in the modern existence.

Amongst us the goddesses appear, the most pure and honest energy unfolds in the absolute freedom and letting go, it becomes a Paradise.

Paradise is considered an ideal idyllic place where the objects displayed have just returned. Paradise is a place of contentment, a land of luxury and fulfillment. We returned happy, we took something with us, we feel more self assured, more self confident. We keep our totems close and them.. they keep us together?

We come as a clan of Paradise worshipers, bringing our totems closer and through that inherit their natural purity. Mixed with our desires we become smarter. More awareness towards nature has at least made us slow down. Lets give our lover some time to reroot itself while standing still thyself. Let the nature weave itself back to us. It is the pull to balance. Heavenly pleasures, sinless attitude, sinistry and grace.

The materials chosen for the show are earthy, natural and precious.

We see leather, terra-cotta clay, driftwood, fresh water pearls - 2500! fresh water pearls, we see horse hair, we see natural and man made corals, we see a massive silver picture frame and small silver details on objects that they have decorated themselves with, we see Japanese ink and human hair, we see silk and even snake skin.. and in juxtaposition we see a neon sign just entering the conversation to note the important: “Indigenous Times with Self”..
